There is no borderland between dreams and reality in Yuvaraj Vivek's mind. The vivid colours of his life permeate his dreams, then seep back as metaphors that his camera captures, precisely timed to trap the mood of the moment and the thoughts of his subjects.

It has been said that great music is as much a function of the notes as the pauses and silences between them, In this current series, Yuvaraj Vivek frames events that reflect a certain pause in the melody of his subject's life. He has traveled the streets of Chennai and Ooty recording the images of people in the surreal states of consciousness between sleeping and awakening.

Born in 1985, Yuvaraj Vivek graduated from S.R.M. Arts & Science College, Chennai, with a B.Sc. in Visual Communications.
