LITERATURE:
Badri Narayan was born on 22nd July, 1929, in Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. During the course of his career, he has painted on ceramic tiles and plates, made mosaics, woodcuts, engravings.

Without any formal training in art, he took to painting seriously at the age of nineteen, and to writing about three years later. His paintings were first seen publicly in 1949, in Hyderabad, at the All India Art Exhibition organised by the Hyderabad Art Society.

His first solo exhibition of paintings was held in Hyderabad, by the Hyderabad Art Society, in 1954. Since then, he has held well over fifty solo shows.
